Review: Philippe Apeloig
A couple of years ago I received a book for my birthday called “Icons of Graphic Design” and I loved it, because that is when I first started delving properly into the possibility of me becoming a graphic designer. Cifting through the pages a came across Philippe Apeloig and After a few projects he went to the back of my mind, but I was reading through some of my Creative Reviews for inspiration and I came across an issue of Monograph and it was dedicated to him, re-opening my love for me.
Philippe Apeloig trained in Amsterdam in the studio Total Design and he gained, here, a particular interest in typography. Throughout the years his typographic works have gained in brilliance and in 1995 he received the “Gold Award” from the Tyokya Type Directors Club.
So here are a few of his designs which I have come across, I hope you enjoy them!
AND I have noticed where Greg could have (the last design blog created) got his inspiration for the first poster featured in the article… Hmmm!
His works:

^^ See the influence? ^^
